When I started this album, I was still living in Luanda.
"Life without Barjot", designed by Stephane Oiry and edited by Futuropolis, due out in bookstores in March 2011.
This is not the result of "Pauline (and werewolves)" (famous commercial oven two years ago, but I consider that - alone, unfortunately - as one of my most successful comics ), but a somewhat similar vein. Then we try to do a third book in this vein, entitled very temporarily "The Winner".
Sometimes the title comes immediately, and it seems obvious. Other times, it galley endlessly to find something that sounds and makes them less account of history.
"Life without Barjot" originally titled "Teenage Kicks" as the song of the Undertones. It was a security issue, because obviously hyper-referenced, and English - I do not want to give an English title to one of my books.
Besides, I asked his opinion of my friend Fear, which is often a critical notice. "This is shit, your title" Was there quickly concluded.
Other titles came to me: "Last Night Party", "head back", "Bluette", "On the walls". "In the shit, shit, shit" said Fear.
We finally fixed last night with Stephen and our publisher, Sebastian, "The Lives without Barjot," and I forgot to ask his opinion to The Fear.
